I live in an apartment complex and most people are very clean, but as always some people litter or thigns fly out of the dumpster. So, yesterday, I stoped and just pickup up all the garbage/litter around my building. It helps the maintence people out and just makes it look nicer for everyone who lives here :)

I live in the same building as an elderly lady who has trouble walking, she uses a cane and that makes it difficult to carry anything. I saw her trying to drag her garabe out to the dumpster morning. I took and walked it out to the dumpster for her. I also told her that she can just set the bags outside her door from now on. When I see a trash bag sitting outside of her door, I'll throw it out for her. She was so happy and I'm sure it'll make things much easier on her :)

I live in an apt. building and I was walking to drop my rent check off.There was a really nice walker by the dumpster.It was one with wheels,brakes & a seat where the person can sit down if they get tired.I took it home and cleaned it up for the sweet old lady that lives next to my sister.She was SO excited! Her and her husband call it "the cadillac",,,lol

As many of you know I live in an apt. building and my sister lives two doors down from me.There's an elderly couple that lives right next door to her.Well,anytime I see that they are going somewhere or coming home I run outside to help them.I take the walker in/out of his car for him.(It's a pretty heavy walker I must add...It's the one that I gave them)He is just the sweetest thing.He always says"You're too much........or he tells me that he's got it.I just say "no,no,no John I got it." It makes me feel so good to help them out.

I was at the store today and saw a lady in parked in the handicap spot unloading her bags in he car. I stopped, helped her finish loading up and then took her cart back for her. It was simple, but I felp great and it put a great big smile on her face!
