just a thought. if you put things in a bag.....collect the stuff you dont want or need or cant use...
and give it to a homeless shelter or food pantry.

i donate all i can. i even send military outreach groups coupons that i cant use....yes, i cut them all out of sundays paper and pass them along.

and if you have any kids around....

KIDS LIKE CRAP!!!!!!
i mail stuff to my niece all the time and i get sweet little thank you auntie on my phone machine.

I live in a small town, no homeless shelters, or any places to donate things to. Well except for the Church thrift store, but they only take clothes, toys, and shoes.

I do give some of the things I get free to others. Especially Mom, aunt, and boyfriend's little neice. However, she is a picky little girl. She doesn't want junk. haha!!

So a lot of the junk just gets throwed away at my house. :(

Sometimes I sneak my freebies in as a gift, like last christmas I got a box of 5 nice mens hats, they made 2 men happy and warm.

Wait a min. my mailman might like some of these samples...

Another thing I do is search the Walmart for Angel Trees for kids that have nothing for their tree. I take some of the toys and stuff I've gotten for free thru the freebie sites and make a very nice box of stuff and add a few things that I've won and make a very nice big box for a needy child!
It's all new and it will bring a smile to any child's face!
Also I make up gift baskets for family, co-workers etc with the free makeup and makeup bags I've gotten throughout the year and even add a few things from the dollar stores.
My co-workers know that each Christmas they can count on me to deliver a nice gift basket/pail or some sort of goody bag just for them! Though this year I won't be there as I've got the entire month of December off for vacation, I'll probably stop in to deliver these because a lot of my co-workers have already stated that they'll miss me and the goody bags! We're a close 2nd family at work and just the thought of bringing joy to them for next to nothing is a blessing in and of itself!

That's a great idea. Also, check out local Freecycle and Freesource groups. It is a place where you can offer things you don;t need or want and people who need or want them come pick them up. It's another great way to help others out and keep things out of the landfills, a win-win!
